Freedom of Speech defined

It seems that some of my dear readers do not completely understand what Freedom of Speech means.
Some of them feel that it means they have the right to write whatever comments they like on my blog and I must just allow them to do that.
That is NOT what Freedom of Speech means.
Freedom of Speech means that you have the right to publish (or have published) whatever it is that you want to say, without being subject to punitive measures. However that does not mean that you have the right to demand of any publisher that they publish your message.
Any publisher is free to publish or not publish as they see fit.
So that means I have a right to delete your comments. It also means that, should you disagree with my decision, you are free to write about this on your own blog.
Do you understand how it works now?
