Recently my friend Candy, in typical female fashion, wrote a blog post pooh-poohing men’s feeble attempts at pick up lines which failed to arouse her sexual interest.

I’ve noticed that women love doing this – belittling men’s attempts to break the ice with them with witty one liners. It’s become some kind of fiendish game that women enjoy indulging in. I think it’s because they somehow feel powerful and in control when they are in a position to shoot a guy down.

And so begins the war of the sexes.

Running down her list, I found one that stuck out like a sore thumb, a line that would definitely work on me, if I was a girl.

Did it hurt… when you fell from heaven?

Of course, no matter what the line was that was used (on me), the guy would have to be very hot and muscly like, for instance… Tom Welling (aka Clark Kent) aka Superman in Smallville. This man is absolutely to die for, don’t you agree?

Of course, Kristin Kreuk (that’s the girl on the right) is also to die for. She’d have me at, "Hello".
